Sharita E. Warfield, M.D.
Dr. Warfield is a skilled physician with over 25 years of experience. She is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, board-certified lifestyle medicine physician, and fellowship-trained in medical toxicology. She attended Central State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in pre-med biology.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Warfield attended Tennessee State University where she obtained a Master of Science degree in microbiology. She then attended Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Warfield completed her emergency medicine residency training at Howard University Hospital, then returned to Wayne State University School of Medicine to complete a fellowship in medical toxicology.
Since relocating to Texas, Dr. Warfield has developed an esteemed reputation for excellence. She was voted one of Houston’s Top 25 Women in 2011, one of Houston’s Top 50 Black Health Medical and Wellness Professionals in 2014, and one of Houston’s Top Emergency Medicine Doctors by the Houstonia Magazine in 2015.
Dr. Warfield is deeply passionate about working with and educating people on healthy eating, physical activity, and developing positive lifestyle habits, and strongly believes in improving health from the inside out!

She told me that all you need is 6 sessions, and that it has been life-changing for her! I've had four children, and I love to exercise, but when jumping rope, I would experience unexpected leakage to the point that I needed to wear a pad to prevent any embarrassing issues. Not fun!I've had many friends who have seen a pelvic floor therapist, and all have said that it is expensive, takes a long time, and they don't really get the results that they were hoping for, so I was eager to try the Emsella chair. By session 4, I was jumping rope and not leaking! What a game changer!Dr Warfield is down to earth, relatable, professional, kind, compassionate, understanding, helpful, knowledgeable, and a good human!
